Planning Blog For the Final Task: Title Design

The opening credits of my film will appear in a tall and somewhat skinny font. It will also be in all caps and there will be spacing between the letters. This size and tracking are especially important when it comes to this font since it is not as thick as other fonts. I will utilize this font and style for my title and the rest of the credits throughout the sequence.  An example of this font type would be the A M A S T I C   S C   F O N T  that is present within Blogger. The titles will either be white or black depending upon the colors within the background setting. Either of these colors will create a nice contrast so that the lettering doesn't blend into the background. I want the credit titles to appear on the bottom right of the screen. The name of the person holding a particular job will be bigger than that of their occupation. For example, D I R E C T E D   B Y S E R E N A   N I X O NThese titles will also fade onto the screen with a blur and then fade out of the screen with a blur There will be about two to three seconds in between the names. The look I want to achieve by doing this is the appearance of the names fading into one another as they enter and exit the screen. I would also like the name of my film to fade in, but the amount of time taken to fade in and fade out will be different from that of the titles dedicated to the credits. The working title for my film is "When We Collided". But this title is subject to change again throughout the production process. I would like this title to enter and exit the screen for about three to four seconds with a fade. Dissimilarly to the credit titles, I want the name of the film to be a lot bigger and bolder. Like any other film, I believe the name of the movie is very important for the audience to catch in order to thoroughly enjoy their viewing experience. I am also considering putting the words "when we" on top of "collided" and slightly angling it. This could make the title of the film stand out even more and attract more attention. I will most likely decide on the structure and angling of the title when editing the movie.
