Below is the creative critical reflection for my final task. Throughout this video, I reflected on the production process for the opening sequence. I decided to film it as a talk show to make it more interesting and engaging. I had so much fun while filming and editing the CCR. I hope that you will enjoy it! 

My opening sequence is finally done and I'm so excited for you to see it! Although difficult at times, I can proudly say that I had a lot of fun and learned so much while producing this film. The two minutes you are about view is about two people whose reality, through a minor collision, changed as they knew them. Now presenting (drum roll please) my final task When We Collided! I ended up continuing the editing process on my phone because, as I thought, the lag got worse and worse as I covered more ground on the editing software. I utilized a combination of iMovie and an app called Capcut to finish the editing of the film. These apps were extremely efficient and helped me finish my opening sequence with ease. After editing and including all the shots I wanted in the final product, my film was still ten seconds over the time limit. Due to this, I kept rewatching my film in the hopes of finding an area that I could cut down. I had to do this carefully to make sure I didn't cut anything out that is crucial to the plot. After some time, I finally decided on the scenes that I would cut down. I chose the scene where Jayden is riding back home from the park. With the completion of the filming, I have decided to get started on editing the opening sequence as soon as possible. During the weekend, I thoroughly reviewed the scenes and decided whether or not any needed to be filmed again. Luckily none of them needed to be refilmed so I was happy with that since I could advance with editing. I had a difficult time deciding whether I would edit on my phone or on my computer. For my commercial and music video, I edited them on my phone and did a good job. But oftentimes when it was time to export my videos from the apps I ran into storage issues. With the film being two minutes long, I had a gut feeling that I would run into the same problems. In an attempt to prevent this and try something new I decided to use Clipchamp to edit the movie. I transferred the shots from my phone to the computer through my USB cord. This part was very easy and did not take long considering the amount of footage I dumped into the software at one time. From the last time we have spoken up until now, I have made a lot of progress on my movie. Towards the end of my last blog, I explained how I had to keep refilming the sleeping scene since my actor was displeased with how it was turning out. I can now say that I have successfully filmed that bedroom scene and my actor is satisfied with how it came out. With the completion of that scene, the next thing left to film was the dream scene. In this shot, a car is seen speeding toward Alexsia. Jayden saves her by pushing himself and her to the ground causing them to get hurt. As expressed in my last update, I pushed back the filming of this scene due to the horrible weather last Saturday. This left me with time to practice the wound makeup on myself. It came out well but I was worried about how I would perform on a real day of filming. As expected, the wound makeup did not turn out well. Over the extended weekend, I was able to film more scenes for my movie. In my last blog, I explained my first day of filming along with what I planned to accomplish over the weekend. Filming had gone relatively smoothly and I am a couple more days away from being done. But during the weekend, I did run into one weather problem on Saturday. The sky was quite dark which gave off a gloomy atmosphere and this is the exact opposite of what I need for my movie. I decided to wait a while and see if the weather would get better but unfortunately, it did not. It even began to drizzle which confirmed the cancellation of my filming. In my refusal to let the day go to waste, I decided to work on the wound makeup that will be needed for the upcoming scenes of the film. I went on Youtube, watched different tutorials, and practiced on myself. At one point I was considering purchasing fake wounds out of all my trial and errors. Continuing where we left off last time, I will talk about what I accomplished in terms of filming over the break. It would be a lie if I said that I wasn't a bit down when it was time to film. I was disappointed that I would no longer be filming on a professional camera. I was excited to utilize the camera for this project since I got permission to use it. So when that plan came crashing down, it was like a slap to the face. But regardless of how unhappy I was, I did not let this deter me from getting some filming done. As it neared closer to my designated date to film I began to think about the scenes I would get done. I thought about this heavily since I was only recording for one day and wanted to make the most of it. In the end, I decided to film the opening of my movie.
